Security is foundational to Skoolsewa. This page describes the controls we operate to protect school data.

Encryption

All data is encrypted in transit with TLS and encrypted at rest. Backups are encrypted and retained with a defined schedule.

Access control

Access is role-based: teachers, administrators, leadership, students and parents see only what their role permits. Administrative actions are recorded in an audit trail.

Compliance and auditing

We maintain a compliance layer for inspection readiness: data retention schedules, statutory reporting and audit trails are available to schools that need them.

Our principles

We don't sell data, share it, or profit from it. Your school's data is yours — exportable, portable and never held hostage.
